NEWS

The Irish hitmakers are releasing a new album in November, which they will follow up with a tour. This brings them to TAP1 in Copenhagen for the second time on the 17th of March.
The last time The Script visited Copenhagen, they melted hearts with their burgeoning back catalog of catchy pop hits and new songs from their 5th album Freedom Child in a tightly packed TAP1. In March, they repeat the success, again featuring hits and not least new songs from their upcoming album Sunsets & Full Moons, which will be released on November 8th.

The Script had a break through with their self-titled debut in 2008, and since then they have been behind the big hits “Hall of Fame”, “If You Coul See Me Now”, “Superheroes”, “Breakeven” and “Rain”. The Dublin trio has sold over 20 million albums and been on charts constantly around the world.

New concert format occupies Copenhagen and the venue TAP1

Lit & Loud is the name of a new concert series that offers more than the general concert experience. Lit & Loud will present the latest and greatest from the international rap scene and the concert will be more in line with what one experiences at a festival. There will be food, a large drinks selection, itll be possible to get tattooed and get fades made.

The first Lit & Loud is D. November 7, 2019 with Lil Tjay, Blueface, Blac Youngsta!

Blueface got a lot of hype earlier this year with the hit ‘Thotiana’, and is still a very unique character on the burgeoning American scene.

Lil Tjay is a more melodic street rap artist in a style we know from Lil Durk and Future. Lil Tjay is one of the strongest voices in the tune of melodic trap.

Blac Youngsta is known for a mix of violent trap and comedic or unexpected features.

When: November 7th. The doors open at 19.00.

Where: TAP1, Raffinaderivej 10, 2300 København S

THE POPULAR NEW YORKERS WILL PLAY AT TAP1 THIS FALL

Interpol has just revealed news about their upcoming album “Marauder” with a release on August 24th. The first single from the new album, “The Rover” has just been released on the world’s digital services. Over two decades, Interpol has built a massive audience with their unique and associated blend of Joy Division’s gloomy post-punk and R.E.M.’s melodic rock. And over time, they have been touring with icons and role models such as U2 and The Cure.

On November 24th, they will give a Saturday concert in Copenhagen at TAP1. The band, still led by Paul Banks, celebrated last year the 15th anniversary of their debut, Turn on the Bright Lights, with a worldwide tour where they also played for a sold out DR Concert Hall, with rousing reviews from the country’s music media.

It’s almost four years since Interpol released their latest album, ‘El Pintor’, but in the meantime Paul Bank has collaborated with Wu-Tang Clan member RZA about the album ‘Anything But Words’, which they released in 2016 as ” Banks & Steelz “.

But 2018 will be a true Interpol year, and when the dust has settled after Roskilde Festival, they can start looking forward to the release of their new album “Marauder” on August 24th.
